This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Pup to Date's apps for iPhone and iPad.

Information we collect

We store your email and hashed password (see Security below), as well as data required to maintain functionality in the Pup to Date app, including your events and reminders.

We do not collect Personal Identifying Information (PII) since we have no use for it for our app to function.

Information we use

We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.

We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as on average how many reminders does a user have in Pup to Date.

We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.

In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.

Information we send

Microsoft App Center

We use Microsoft App Center (https://appcenter.ms) for iOS crash reporting and basic anonymized analytics. We never send any person customer information (email, etc.); we only track basic events like "added an event" or "signed up". We never sell this data to be used for advertising or any other purpose, it's used by us internally to see how our features are working.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat (https://revenuecat.com) to handle our subscription payments via in-app purchases. We never send any person customer information (email, etc.); we only use a unique user identifier to identify that you subscribed to Pup to Date. We never sell this data to be used for advertising or any other purpose.

Amplitude

We use Amplitude (https://amplitude.com) for basic anonymized analytics. We never send any person customer information (email, etc.); we only track basic events like "added an event" or "signed up". We never sell this data to be used for advertising or any other purpose, it's used by us internally to see how our features are working.

Security

We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, passwords are hashed, not stored, using industry-standard methods.

Retrieving or deleting data

Retriving your data

You may access or change your information from the Pup to Date iOS app. Additionally, you can retrive all of your events in a CSV in the iOS App. To make an additional data-retrival request you can request it in-app via the Support feature or email data-retrival@puptodate.com.

Deleting your data

To delete your account, please go to Close My Account in the iOS app which will automatically delete your account and data. You may also contact us at delete@puptodate.com.

Opting out of analytics tracking

Pup to Date includes anonymous analytics tracking including Amplitude and AppCenter that are used for crash reporting and to see overal trends in usage of certain features. This data is anonymous, but if you would like to opt-out of this tracking you can do so from the iOS app in the Data section in Settings or by emailing data-privacy@puptodate.com

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website or app is structured to attract anyone under 13.
